Oggi a Milano non c’era nessuno, la città era talmente vuota che sembrava di essere già in agosto..
La città vuota, la dispensa anche.
In compenso sto usando questi giorni per rimestare lavori che avevo lasciato un po’ in sordina. Tra cui un progetto sugli artigiani, nato come un lavoro per partecipare ad un concorso (Premio Cellini della Fondazione Cologni) ed è diventato una sorta di esercizio mentale in cui (di default) cerco di osservare gli altri prima immaginandoli sul limbo e poi inseriti nell’ambiente.
A volte funziona, a volte no.

In questo momento di crisi, (questa crisi poi i “liberi professionisti” la vivono da sempre) si stanno avvicinando dei cambi.
Il Primo è quello fisico, chi conosce lo studio e conosce me, sa che tra qualche settimana avrò uno spazio un po’ più grande a disposizione, compreso di una colonna (portante) e una colonna (da studio) che spero mi porti un po’ di magica fortuna visto che arriva dallo studio di Aldo Ballo (ma questa è un’altra storia)
Il secondo è quello strutturale, tra poco potrò vantare una collaboratrice (ringrazio tutti quelli che si sono fatti vedere, conoscere e che per vari motivi non ho potuto assoldare, passate in studio ogni volta che volete) e (forse) altri fotografi con i quali collaborare. uno di questi è un amico di vecchia data (trovate qui il suo flickr) che si è già fatto notare per le sue foto di nightlife e per aver venduto un’immagine a MCCAN Senegal!
Il progetto IN GIRO A MILANO è ormai chiuso e altri se ne stanno aprendo, ma anche di questo parleremo più avanti,con più calma e con qualche immagine.
Forse tra le novità ci saranno anche degli altri autori che scriveranno su qui, ma questo dipende soprattutto da loro!
Adesso ci si rimbocca le maniche e.. al lavoro!

Finalmente dopo un po’ di tempo riesco a mettere i puntini sulle “i” del progetto su Giò Ponti.
il sito è in elaborazione e devo solo realizzare parte delle fotografie (ovviamente il tempo mi sorride visto che piove.)

So, today, according with Jeff Barnett, I’ve a new personal project on people portrait.
It work like this: You place some ads around the web to find people that want to be model.
Than you set up , inside their house, the shooting ground and then you paid her/him with a print or with cash.
Yes, with model release and whatever…
So let’s just do it!
After all I ‘ll try to bring Jeff’s work in Italy and then make an exhibition togheter!
